Cross Group Collaboration:
2-Day Practitioners Workshop
Stacey Dickinson

2-Days. Available now for on-site delivery. Find out more.

Course Overview
Build a better idea through effective team collaboration. Effective collaboration and communication are absolute requirements for organizations and professionals today. However, most take an overly simplistic view of how to address these challenges – until they are faced with the reality of conflicting priorities, lack of focus and accountability, insufficient information sharing, and projects that simply progress at a slower and slower pace while increasing in cost.

This two-day workshop shows you how to overcome collaboration and communication obstacles that impede your project deliverables and success. It combines the core content from the popular 1-day seminar, and also focuses participants on analyzing their own cross-group work situation and identifying the appropriate tool(s) to improve or enhance their collaboration. The second day gives participants the opportunity to practice using the tools provided.

Participants will also develop a self awareness of each individual's role in the success or failure of cross group dynamics through participation in two simulations that closely represent cross group work. Read More.

  • It's difficult to identify who to contact or who is accountable on other teams

In addition a quick reference card is provided that identifies how each tool mitigates common collaboration challenges, as well as lists 10 best practices to improve cross group collaboration.

Some comments from past participants:

"I already recommended this to my entire team....It should be made as a mandatory training for every employee....Exercises were great, well structured, and raised very salient points....This training should be a mandatory one for all new hires....It is simply THAT good and invaluable to getting any job done."
