Course Overview
Whether an organization is embarking on a new system implementation or has already automated much of its business and process data, the requirement for reports that pull and translate data into meaningful information is growing. In many organizations, the performance of the business depends on it.
Critical to the successful design, development and implementation of a system solution is a clear understanding the report requirements.
This one-day session provides practical tips and techniques for creating useful report requirements that can be evaluated, estimated, and implemented within the organization
Please note that this is not a technology-based course. Content focuses on the analysis of business needs and the definition of the report specification. There will not be examples in creating stored procedures or other queries to extract data, or use of tools to create report structures.
