With good reason, the Unified Process (UP), and especially its refinement, the Rational Unified Process, has emerged as a modern industry standard for software development process. It combines widely accepted best practices and values in development, is cohesive and well documented, incorporates popular practices of use cases and object modeling, and enjoys the support of leading methodologists. This seminar will provide participants with the fundamental knowledge of applying the UP and will demonstrate the UP's underlying values and motivation.
