Course
Overview
Requirements analysis and specification writing
is an art practiced by many and mastered by surprisingly few—and
yet, the payoff from achieving excellence in these areas is large.
Inferior requirements significantly increase the cost of system
development and the time required to deliver an application.
Writing
Excellent Requirements focuses on problem avoidance—how
to write requirements accurately the first time or improve them
before design and coding starts.
This 2-day hands-on workshop builds on the techniques discussed
in its companion seminar In
Search of Excellent Requirements. Through extensive
hands-on exercises and discussion, participants use many of
the tools and techniques discussed in the seminar and leave
the workshop with the knowledge of how to integrate these techniques
to their project. Workshop participants write actual requirements
in teams and experience in-depth many of the issues faced in
their day-to-day projects. Read
