Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) is a framework for constructing multi-tired, web-centric, enterprise applications using components. This course provides an overview of the basic architecture behind J2EE as well as an in-depth discussion of all the primary Java technology components encompassed by J2EE.

Participants gain not only an understanding of the purpose and significance of J2EE, but also gain insight as to where their development plans need to be focused. Likewise, participants will come away with an understanding of what technical skills the development staff need to acquire.
